View Full Version : Any one a bit concerned
It cant be just me who's a tad concerned about the feed back from the new demo. I was excpecting nothing more than a few gripes on top of a load of " My mind is blown, The elephants are awsome, Cant wait till september " but any one surfing around the many threads wont find this the case. i cant play the demo my self as my low spec computer struggles with MTW and Im
waiting to upgrade. Can any one put my mind at rest ? Im hoping it's just a case of the fact that a game so hyped and long awaited it's bound to disapiont some.

I don't think the demo was a real taste of any of the many things I was looking forward to.
1. I wanted City Siege.
2. I wanted a campaign tutorial
3. I wanted to have Legions with the tustudo formation, as this looks cool.
We've heard a lot of complaints but just have a look at the totalwarcenter's poll and maybe you'll be reassured.
Also, as I think someone else has pointed out elsewhere, people tend to complain more than praise. If someone has a problem they tend to want to get it of their chests. If you're happy with what you've got you don't normally bother telling everyone else.

personally I don't find that very reassuring
it's almost vomit-enducing

Put it this way.
It is a great leap forward for RTS and speedy combats... and if they all follow the trend then it will raise the baseline for the whole RTS genre in the future.
... But essentially just like Clerks the sequels are more commerialised and aimed at a larger target audience... art house to frat house...

Perhaps because you don't like the demo, but the majority obviously doesn't share your point of view.
