EUREKA.

You can take command of your general and kick arse at any given time. You can assign orders before the battle and give key signals or cammands furing but you also get the chance to get stuck in and slay.

Of course the catch is if you die you have no further input into the result of the battle. And if you do choose first person mode you forfeit your rights to use the aerial cams and give generic orders as before.

What do you think.

Amazingly :jumping: great or complete granny juice. ~:mecry:

Dynasty Warriors anyone? (Even though it's 3rd person) ~:)

On one hand it'd be more realistic than the actual settings because you shouldn't be able to control each unit individually, but on the other hand, I'd find it a bit boring to watch the whole battle without fighting by fear not to die.

Sign me up. Anyone played Sacrifice? It is third person strategy and it worked awesome. I love this idea it shouldn't be that hard to pull off? (this does come from someone that didn't know what a firewall is)

Agreed, at least not with the engine always progressing.

You could actually get involved in the fights, no special moves as such if puriss are getting scared, just the chance to make it more personal
