The need for newbies to join STW

I hate repeating myself. I hate repeating myself, uh .. what was I saying again, oh yeah - I hate repeating myself, but...in all of life there are predators that live on the lame and defenseless. On-line games are no different. STW is no different. But, in STW there are more that care about being fair, than lay in wait to gain points from newbies. You know who you are (and yes we all fear you Lovia). Personally, I see it as dishonorable to have more that, say, 3 names. What is the point (unless, because of clan changes and such)? Further, there are those in the community that lay in wait for newbies, and (thereby) discourage the furhter expansion of it. Yeah, MTW is all but out - so what? STW, will always be king of the basic tactical games. No other game allows one to select their own army, possition it in the formation of their choosing and attack (defend) at will, with out the drag this, build that, pick this up, go there, point and attack what ever crap. Bottom line, help the newbies and stop the predator bullcrap. When was the last time you beat a newbie? Did you really feel all that happy? Are points the answer to your misserable life? Well?

Stop pretending that every newbee is a soft pink bunny with no personality at all. I too was a newbee but that didn't mean I let others spoil my fun. If you are interested in the game you wont let others spoil your fun and if you let them then it's jst sad for you.

They certainly need to help themselves...a few weeks ago you were a newbie too Kafir but you thrived to be better...not blaming vets of a newbie's interpretation of the game.

However, newbies think a fast attack is a rush, a 2v2 is two 1v1s and a cav is made to blatantly charge frontally with. Who is responsable for helping them improve? Vets. But only if the newbie does his part...

My first time online playing STW I quickly felt by newbness. Ha, I thought, when I saw they had six musketeers. Musketeers? What a waste of koku. Why not spend it on valuable axe and armor that could crush an enemy. So I advanced my samurai archers and yari sams at the enemy.. only to die from endless volleys. I think it took me some four units to finally reach their lines.
