I can't get to the totalwarcenter site and when I type in the URL I get a "page cannot be found". Did the dang .com guys finnaly win their law suit or something?

I can't get to it either. I guess CA won the lawsuit. That is really to bad.

It might be, but oh well. I'll go look it up. It says it's going under mainteniance. aka CA won the lawsuit.

They are gonna change url today. This was on thier frontpage earlier:

This sites domain name is going to be changed to www.twcenter.net at approximately 6:00pm CST on September 7th/04

well twc was getting many members and suposedly had illeagal downloads they .com didnt care untilk they saw twc was getting many members abd fast so they sued(ps they were not illeagal the history channel okayed them.

No, they changed the domain name to twcenter.net

TWC posted a considerable amount of content taken word-for-word from the official site without attribution, and also hosted copyrighted videos (Time Commanders).

The change to the URL to remove the words 'Total War' was one of the changes requested by CA to resolve the dispute - along with, obviously, removing all the copyrighted and copied material.
