If MTW does half the job expected with its new server etc and new support thing (activision)...maybe its just as well 'good old MI/WE/STW' fades away before all our memories become complaints about service etc.
but be warned Activision/GameSpy/whoever we throw a mean e-mail if you mess us about.. not to mention my failed letter bomb idea (it would have work I am sure!) to wake them up a little.
whats an EA???????????????
did they once run a server?
did they ever support their consumers?

hey Mac... stw still down heh? sorry mate... well I'm off to Gamespy and medieval......
During these last months we've seen the MI tunnel getting less wide...and less wide. From 50 max in the foyer...to 30 max...down to 20 max...and the server is down for a week now I think.
On the fake server the number never exceeds 10. In 2 weeks everyone will have MTW. It is inevitable. There will always be those few 'die-hard' MIers...but for most of us:

666....the number on the beast in revelations if I am correct....the beast that brings the final days of eath...well this isnt a beast its a Monsta but I can see the final days of MI/WE...and to be honest its not a bad thing...it has never been the same since STW.....until patch 103 and by then it was too late.

maybe it was even later because some people wanted to blcok the use of 103...for a reason still not sure in my mind...hmmm who was it now who spoke out and put doubts in players minds?

it was the guy who stated that the 103 patch was created to make it easier for our Khan to get their heads, since the horsearchers were stronger in 103....

Interesting that Yam/Cham ..tell your Khan that Rage also were said to be involved in some kind of 'fix'....due to the fact we helped test it!

no matter what version i play the khan on i always go home carrying my head in a bag provided at the start of the battle by khan.
as for u monsta, i have played with and against u, u certainly dont need to be accussed of fixing it http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif . u showed me the fun in 4 max 4hon max(remember)?

I'ld be very surprised if Mag would kill anyone with 16 Lcav in 103. Perhaps someone who took 16 monks.
I nearly always used 2-4 lcav in all previous versions, just yesterday I used 15 in a 1.02 10k 3v3 (a hell to keep them cosy, but 1301 kills isn't that bad).
While still very useful, I rarely use more than 1 in 1.03.

not stupid just not Dutch....have you noticed how well they speak english....but careful it also holds a deep coded message only dutch folk and their allies can see....so when Tosa explains how to use a mod etc it isnt what it seems unless you have the key..heres and example-
'Just place it the main folder' (means place it in a sub folder)
'Click here' (means dont click here)
Its easy to install (means 'I AM EVIL TOSA AND I LAUGH AT YOU PUNY ATTEMPS TO USE THIS')
simple when you know these things.....!

STW is dead long live MTW.
We still have 5 days to wait, but i am really excited.
I will be sorry to say goodbye to STW, it was a good game, but we now have MTW.
The strength of STW was online play and hopefully MTW will be bigger and better http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
