The demo has been out since 23 August; I'd been very surprised if there any many people on this forum who were not aware of that.

But thanks for your interest.

Ok, let's not be rough on the newbie ~:joker:

Welcome to the .org, Kitt. Appreciate your enthusiasm and attempt at a helpful post, but it is a good idea to check the main page and a few threads before you post news. It can save you from a lot of sarcasm. Not that I haven't posted my own DOH threads when in a hurry... ~

You know I had a good laugh, sorry, but its is kinda funny to find out that some ppl don't know that the demo is out yet.

LoL no offence though, nice to know that ppl out there want rtw and are ethusiastic about it.

And his/her other 2 posts have been polite, informative, and helpful. Therefore Kitt makes "the list".

Hello Kitt,

Thanks for sharing and welcome. Did you play it already? Is it your first totalwar game or have you also tried Shogun Totalwar and/or Medieval Totalwar? Both have a demo too, together with a few mods for the demo.

Sincere apologies to Kitt if my reply came across as sarcastic - my comment "But thanks for your interest." was geniunely sincere.

Perhaps an emoticon would be in order: :embarassed:

Heck, most of the people at work here (a few of whom are active gamers) had no idea that RTW even existed until a couple of weeks ago.

Some people just aren't addicted... ~D... Yet.

Welcome to the Org, Kitt!

Yes, I'd heard the rumour that there are some people who had never heard of RTW! It is strange to think there is life outside our little bubble.

I wonder what this means for the mass market appeal? It doesn't seem to have reach the same penetration as say, The Sims, or even DOOM.
