It says that IDF is where CFK get a valor bonus. How? They are not buildable and the CK that I made and dismounted to get CFK did not have that bonus eventhough he was from Ile de France!!! And they turned back to CK after the battle. Also, do I have to start cruzades from Palestine to have valor bonus Knights Templar?
True on both counts. If you mod the game to let you build chiv. footknights they will have +1 valor in IDF. I never understood the bonus to jerusalem - it's a target not an origin!
I've moved the templar bonus to champagne instead - within reach of both France and England. I can't remember where in france they had their headquarters irl.

Now if you'd be so kind to tell me exactly how to make CFK buildable and move the bonus to Champagne, I'd really apreciate it!
Templars get a bonus in Palestine because that's where they were founded and their original headquarters before the holy lands were lost.
To make CFK buildable you need to edit crusaders_init_prod11.txt in the main MTW directory. You can use Notepad, but you might find it easier to get an editor such as GnomeEditor or DragonMTW, both of which can be found via this site.
Assuming you're using one of these editors, scroll down the file looking for the entry for CFK in column 1 - as a note they're on row 55. Once you find the the CFK record, scroll across until you come to column 17, which will currently be blank for CFKs. CKs have a build requirement of Baronial Court, Armourers Guild and Horse Breeders Guild, so you could just give the CFKs the same build requirement without the horse breeder, although I prefer to also add Swordsmith, as required by the MAA. For the former build requirement enter the following in column 17 for CFKs, including the double quotes "{ ROYAL_COURT3, ARMOURER3}", for the latter use "{ ROYAL_COURT3, ARMOURER3,SWORDSMITH3}". You could obviously do similar mods for FFKs & GFKs, or use different buildings - see crusader_build_prod13.txt for the required building IDs you need to use.
To change the bonus region for a unit, eg. Templars on row 91, you need to edit column 13. The entry in this field must be a recognized region - check the startpos files in C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War\campmap\startpos (assuming default installation path) such as Early.txt, High.txt & Late.txt - which will list the valid region IDs for the standard game. Assuming you wanted to use Champagne as Magraev suggested enter the value of ID_CHAMPAGNE. A region can have more than one bonus unit, although only one is displayed on the info panel, however if a unit has more than one region entered in column 13, only the first gets the bonus, the other entries are used to guide the AI to develop the region to enable it to build that unit.

If you can't get the bonus for the Chivalric/Gothic/Hospitaller Foot Knights, why have the bonuses been designated to Ile de France/Brandenburg/Rhodes? It just seems like such a waste, when you could give these provinces bonuses for other troops.

Good description by sinner. I didn't realise that the templars were actually founded in jerusalem.
I've never used any editors except wordpad. As long as you remember to backup, and you're not afraid to mess about a bit it's quite simple. For inspiration on how to do it just examine another unit (copy the build requirements from chiv knights to the (exact) same spot under cfk, and change "HORSE_BREEDER" to "SWORDSMITH".
Have fun ~:)

"The Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Jerusalem" - that was them. Great name, I've always thought...
Founded 1112 after the First Crusade to protect Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land. From humble beginnings, grew to be Europe's bankers in the C 13th, thereby earning the hostility of most of Europe's leaders, notably Philip the Fair of France who brought about their downfall, just to get his mitts on their cash. Excommunicated and dissolved by Papal edict in every country in Europe.
Except, interestingly, in Scotland, where the bull was never read and the Templars never dissolved...
