Well anyways I though I should bring this up. As my first plans would be to jump into a campaign with full unit sizes. Then I realized if I was in the middle of the campaign and at the point where armies have become huge and found I could not fight the battles because of lag.
Well I figure what I'll do is pick 4 factions and take them into a custom battle and see if all handles well. For single player I do'nt think it will be common to have more than 4 armies on the battlefield. But if that works fine I will then take 8 armies at full unit sizes. Another thing that has to be done is to pick as many different units as possible because it easier for the comp to process 160 of the same units than for the comp to process 160 completely different units.
I do'nt mind at all turning the graphic quality down to have big battles, because huge armies being my main selling point and graphics come in second
So is anyone else going to stress test there system with a custom battle or are you just going jump right in the campaign
