Hey, I know I did a mistake but what I am wondering is:
more units...does it means necessary more fun?

For me, absolutely. I play MTW on "large" so you still train units in one turn, etc etc, and still get large armies.

It's the difference between a great game and an epic game for me.
Fights last longer, armies seem more epic (and realistic), ranged units are more useful.
Cavalry can be a bit of a pain but you can get around that if you use them in wedge formations more.

Well, he said more units not bigger units. And I don't think it makes it more fun, Shogun with its 11 or so units is the best tw game.

Thx Mime, I was in fact wondering if my english has become so rusty.

I love as well games with large bulks of troops. My preferite games are indeed 3vs3 or larger. When I have the chance to admire the landscape covered with bodyes and flags all around, I cannot stop from smiling. I really love it.
But I am a bit wondering about the fact that in many games, recently, the large number of different units available, is always proposed as an adding value. Something that should make the game better, providing more fun.
