I think EA's server is up again or can be it is that only Tosa's server who works again!!!

I have had a reply from EA support to a complaint I made about availability of STW servers, see excerpt below. I hope the promised new server actually appears.


This morning we were made aware of the fact that the Total War server has been 98% full almost 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, when trying to connect, users were not receving a 'server full' message and it looked like they had simply failed to connect. The server administrators are in the process of setting up another server and that should remedy this problem.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

If the capacity is reduced to zero, it could easily reach 98% without any effort at all.

I never played STW online before & only tried to do so last week, so I wasn't able to make a judgement on the reply I got after complaining about the missing server. I guess by the tone of your replies that you doubt its veracity.

I too have emailed and telephoned EA UK on a number of occasions.

I have had similar replies to the effect that they couldn't understand what was happening.

Each time they have apologised for any inconvenience.

Played on EA server last night.

Let's hope it is here to stay but don't hold your breath ( as was suggested to me when I posted reply from EA UK ) http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif .......Jochi Khan

Surely cannot be the server of TW was 98% busy. The last days we were playng at max in 22 players.

It was sure a problem in the server. The EA seems not fair enough to admit responsability http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
