i know this isnt the dungeon but im still a junior patron ~;)
ive been playing med mod and love it ..ive spent some time adding a few extra factions and rearanging the maps to express more of how i understand it to be historicaly. but med mod uses the original map so im somewhat limited.
i recently downloaded another mod to take a look at it becuase the moder added 9 provinces.
i could just play the new mod but im somewhat stuck on the way ive set up med mod but would love some new provinces to play with.

so in simple terms how easy is it to just sort of "copy/paste" a new map in?

Most modding information can be found in the repository, which is part of the Dungeon (MTW section). However, the thread relating to the making of a strategic map has not been finished yet. Perhaps you could ask one of the moderators to move this thread to the dungeon.

Here are the topics that could be useful:

It's far from being easy to modify the campaign map. Some smaller task could be achieved by simple copy & paste but adding a province is quite tough (there's a limit also).
Removing one is a lot easier...
