Online play - good news!

From the manual (I'm at work reading it).

1) A GameSpy profile (I assume login) is not needed to play RTW online over GameSpy.

2) Multiplayer Historical Battles. You know what this means? Possibility to mod for custom battles online (with preset units) is HIGH!

So then it will have a in game browser to search for online games?

Yes just like STW and MTW. Ingame chat room with list of hosted games.

Just played my 1st online game, wasent too bad but the chat system seems too complicated for it's own good...probly just need to get used to it, you have to direct you chat into windows and groups by clicking buttons, it would have been better to make it all automatic...and you have to unready yourself to chat while waiting which is annoying, youll see what i mean if you try it.. Folks don't seem very talkative or cooperative on there ATM anyway...will probly need a clan for any real teamwork.
