Hi there,
have decided to use this forum as I have had no success in resolving my problem elsewhere.
I bought my copy of Shogun: Total War about a year ago and with the release of Medieval: Total War decided to hunt through my collection of games and replay Shogun. I discovered that my CD2 has been badly scratched through falling out of its case. I have been able to perform the full install, admittantly very, very slowly, but unfortunately the initial boot sequence for the game is now unreadable and therefore I cannot play this game without purchasing a new copy.

I was wondering whether there is any way of playing the game without the CD (this is what I believed the full install would allow me to do)?

Thanks

Thanks for your super useful help. Is it totally unreasonable to believe me. I have been accused of this on several occasions but no one can actually prove to me that I am doing anything wrong. I have a valid CD key (which cannot be found on the internet), other than this I have no way to prove to you my innocence.

P.S Nice little typo (just makes the message so much more amusing!!)

This thread is going nowhere. There's no way around it, at least not any that'll be discussed in this forum, other than contacting A, or going and getting a new copy. look after your CDs next time...

Thread closed.
