Very cool - Alt-F4 shuts RTW all the way down

I never tried this with MTW in the many months, but I just found that Alt-F4 will shut RTW all the way down to the desktop from the strat screen. Very cool, once you've saved yer game and just want to shut yer PC all the damn way down, instead of answer "yes" multiple times in a row.

Well, it is a Windows standard ~;) And it was so fantastically useful during development that we decided to leave it in for the final release. Although there was a classic moment when one of our marketing folks said, "I've found a crash bug! Every time I go to the camera bookmark I've attached to Alt-F4 the game falls over..."

I remember playing my sorceress in Diablo2 and attaching teleport to F4. Once, I was using alt to highlight items on the ground to pick up and decided I would move faster using teleport. Straight to desktop for me.
