Can't install RTW Error 1305!?

Maybe someone can help. I'm trying to install RTW on my computer and after about an hour of disk 3 portion of the installation I get a message saying Error 1305: Error reading from file F:Setup\Date\Data\texture\#al_outline.tga.dds. Verify that the files exists and that you can access it. F is my DVD drive. All system requirements are met (you know the usual Redeon 1 gig of ram etc.) Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening?

Hi Lenny welcome to the Org.The guys in this thread https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=36597 report some success with installing using a non-DVD, plain old CD Rom drive, if you have one.

I had the same problem with my installation. You can check CA for possible solutions, if you haven't solved it already. I had to return the game for another copy, CA have admitted that they have realeased a bad batch of discs.
