whats up with server?

just asking, cause last time i was athe server was being just pathetic...is EA keeping the server up ,or would i be wasting my time trying to play shoggy online again? reply by email if possible cause im too busy with college to look up the website all the time, thanx

Is the server up or down when you get the error 'Logon Error'.. or is something else wrong. I did the double registration and everything.. and I remember the clanname I chose and it seems all fine..
A friend of mine tried the same. He got the same error. Could someone mail me on how the fake server software would work? Coz I am NOT going to wait for EA forever if I must believe all the previous posts on this issue.

I have a legal copy of the game FYI, and the latest patch 1.12 installed.
