Hello all.

It has been a while but with Rome due out in less than a week (1st Oct im told) Im back and thought I would say hello and see if I can catch up with any old friends from the MTW crowd.

I'll be seeing some of you online for a game in the new future but I have some questions for you about the single player game right now.

Has anybody posted any good info about the changes to the single player game in Rome compared to MTW ?

If so can you post a link for me please.

Thanks all.

For the record, MTW still generated over 50% of my own sites hits each week. Not bad for an old game. Shows the quality of the game and its depth lasts. Good value for money too for the player.

How about an old friend from Banzai? :charge:

heya Gisk... I haven't picked up Rome yet, but I've still been playing the heck out of MTW...

From what I've read there are some vast differences, especially with Unit Speed. I had a hard enough time playing MTW's tactical game without pausing! We'll see though.

Cheers!

Hay Archlight :)

Good to see you mate :)

Yes, MTW is still installed and still played on my system, its going to be a tough act to follow for Rome.

Got my copy of Rome reserved for the Friday release so I'll be picking it up the day it hits the shelfs hopefully.

I have no doubts about me enjoying it.

I never really got sick of MTW, Multiplayer was great and the SP game was so vastly different and involving it was like a buy one game, get a another game free sale. Both good.

I am expecting Rome to just as good.
