Any rumors about the expansion pack yet?

So far there has been an expansion to STW and MTW, so one would expect no different for RTW. Has anyone heard anything about it yet? If I had to guess, I would expect the expansion to focus on Carthage, but there are certainly plenty of other themes it could focus on.

None as of yet. Of course the natural path seems to follow an invasion. I.E., weve had Mongol Invasion and Viking Invasion. So it would seem the next would be about the fall of Rome, like say "Hunnic Invasion."

I sure as hell hope thats not the case though. I wanna see something focus on the Ancient Near East! Like Babylon, the Rome of it's time. And Egypt and dreaded Assyria. And of course Israel, the warrior nation talked about in the old testament. THAT would be awesome!

It would certainly be cool to cover the period before the setting of RTW. They could do Alexander the Great, perhaps.

An "Age of Alexander" (Macedonian Invastion anyone?) or a Pelponesian War add-on would be excellent. The fall of Rome could be interesting, except that you are almost treading on the turf of MTW and VI.

Seeing as all the expansion packs to date have been based on eras prior to the full game's campaigns, a HTW expansion pack is very likely.

The other angle would be that of "invasions" by Mongols and Vikings (descending like plague onto a civilised land) theme for expansions. Macedonian Invasion might fit the bill. Perhaps they would have an expansion pack on the fall of the Roman Empire instead.
