In the intro of the prologe, you see a movie where a caravan get's hit.
can you do this ingame (and on the 3d map?)
I do'nt think factions can disrupt trade routes except for blockades. What I think that is representing is bandits robbing the caravans. When you see rebels pop up and they were left unchecked for a year or more they scorch the earth around them. and if the scorched earth is on a road I believe it reduces trade income if on flat land it should reduce farm income and if in the forest should have minimum effect. Of course I remember hearing victoria say that if you let rebels hang around resources they can destroy the mines or greatly reduce the income
Oh and by the way wich video is it that shows the robbing of a caravan a faction opening or the main intro?

the intro:
when you start the prologue, the intro movie shows the senate speaching.
during that, he says something about trade caravans, and then you see a caravan being attacked.
