mongol units

im a bit new to expantion how does one get the mongol cav. i hvae yet to try them out and the skirmishers

I take it you mean in sp campaign? You need to keep taking provinces and sending home the loot. Your heavy cav and skirms will soon turn up as reward from the Khan http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

These units are suposed to be more than a reward. You will find that the AI will be much more stronger so, you really need to do what Orda says.
