I think it would be a good idea to shrink the cavalry units somewhat, i dont think there were such big horse 'divisions' in the ancient time (especially compared to infantry units)?
also it would probably benefit to hoplites for example, less horses getting around flanks and back after a frontal charge (and the hoplites thus switching to secondary weapons).
a hoplite/spear unit of 40 men seams a tad small against the default 27 for cavalry?
what do you think? and what would be a better unit size value for them in the export_descr_unit division?
