Anyone who pre-ordered from play.com (UK)

According to play.com my order was complete two days ago - but still no game?? :bigcry:

Mine was supposedly shipped on Wednesday. hadn't appeared yesterday, left before the post this morning

If you order from Play.com you can typically expect to wait 4-5 days from the day they give you a shipped notice. They ship from Jersey, takes time to get across the water! Thats why I never buy from them if I want a pre-order to arrive on or before the day of release. Always go for Gameplay - OK so I paid a measly 99p more than I would have done with Play.com, but I got the game YESTERDAY ~D

Play's delivery service has got a lot worse in the last few years.

You could usually expect a 1-2 days wait, now usually I wait 4-5. That said, it may be the postie's fault rather than plays.?

I agree that play.com is getting slower although my post could be getting later. My post is never at my house till some time after 10am and has been as late as mid day!! (strange that when i lived in a village 10miles from all my local towns i used to get post much quicker than i do now and i live nearly in the centre town)

Dammit - I wish I'd know that before I ordered. The whole reason I pre-ordered is so that I didn't have to go out and buy it today and it would be waiting at home for me when I got in :furious3:

The price isn't really an issue, it was supposed to be for convenience's sake. If it ain't there when I get home (I phoned the wife, it ain's there yet) then I'm gonna have to go and buy a copy from PC world and sell the play.com vopy to a forum member for £20.
