Morale: RTW

in MTW, we used to have unit morale boosting buildings (churches, monasteries, etc.): is there anything similar in RTW? on another note: in MTW, pressing F1, one could observe the base morale of all units on the field. is there a similar stats display in RTW?

in RTW, if a unit routs from the battlefield, there is a message that pops up telling you the routed unit won't forget the shame for its lifetime. is it just a message or routing does really affect the base morale of units? how badly? is there a way to see which units carry this kind of handicap and which don't?

There is one temple that gives a bonus to troop morale. I think it is Brutii faction, and it is a Pantheon, but I can't remember which one. It's on another thread in this forum somewhere.

There are many temples around the different factions that give experience to troops hired there. The Scythians highest level foot infantry building actually gives Axemen hired there a +1 exp boost, so its not always restricted to temples.

Yes, there are many buildings that give experience bonuses, but only the one pantheon that gives a morale bonus (at least for the Roman factions).

I believe it is the Mars temples for the Romans, and I believe it is a Julii building, but I've only played the Scipii thus far so I'm not sure. The Neptune temples (available to the Scipii) give bonuses to naval units, and temples to Vulcan give bonuses to weapons and/or armour I believe. Also, Greek temples to Nike give morale bonuses (I only know that because I just took Sparta where one was located. I was going to level it and put a Roman temple in its stead, but I thought a temple like that might be useful.....)

I don't think routing affects morale later because my general ran away and after the battle gained another 2 stars!!

I think if you capture wonders of the world you get a bonus. Different buildings do affect morale and other things. Not just temples but Government buildings, public baths and so on
