I once had a sea storm on the strategic map...

but I never saw a drop of rain in the tactical battles.

Winter, Summer - different seasons, yes... I even had sometimes snow.

But how about some rain in France? I never ever had bad weather there or anywhere else.

That's odd. I've been playing Barbarian factions and it seems like Northern Europe gets all kinds of weather. Rain, snow, fog; I've seen it all.

Now Greece..."It never rains!"

I've experienced rain while campaigning in Gaul. I had to break a siege by sallying forth and when the battle loaded it was raining but the 'Wait (3)' button was nowhere in sight. Since I needed dry weather for my archers I ended the battle in a Draw and then attacked again that same turn, this time I got a clear, sunny day.

Ive seen rain in some battles when I was playing the Julii and taking territory from the Gauls. As Carthage, I see allot of sand storms in Africa. I've yet to see a storm on the campaign map though. Go figure.

The weather is region dependant. I'm conviced of it. Thats great.

He people, I got rain today... guess where... Crimea, fighting a Scythian Army on my way to the rebel city there... :P

Now I am happy - I started to think it is like in California! :)

(It never rains in California... *sing*)
