Server is up - Do you have problems ?

I believe it has more relevance to Shogun than Tech.

There have been queries about EA server and if it is running, which it is. Someone mentioned Log in process so I was wondering if we have a registration problem again?

Is anyone having trouble getting online at MI? What problems are you having?

To those who are playing and wondering about custom maps etc, they are still available to download from the Shogun Files link at the Org Homepage.
To those who have enquired about Stat Mod 103
Vanya swapper is in recent files and possibly too the original .bat swapper.
These devices enable you to swap from 102 to 103 or from these to your own custom stats if you have some. This can be done in less than 10 seconds...( alt/tab swap stats return ) in this way you can enjoy the subtle differences without having to restart the game. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif
Speaking for myself I love the 103 Mod. There doesn't seem to be the Ashi/Gun armies on v1.02 these days and because of this it is much more fun but 103 just 'feels' more like a battle and less like a race.
I certainly miss the 'Big' games of the summer where we regularly fought past the hour mark in 3v3 epics http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
Ahhh such wonderful memories......
Oops I digress. Ok the reason for this post is to try to sort out problems if there are any and mainly to keep this game alive. We need some big battles to see us through the winter.

I will try reinstalling the game once more, perhaps it will help. I'll get a new registration and try to get online. We can but pray it will work (since my last 6 attempts, with changes in logon name, family name and clan name) totally f*cked up. *DEEP SIGH*

Right. "Logon Error".. say does it matter whether you enter a hotmail address or a provider address when entering your e mail when registering? Coz I've so far only tried my hotmail account. Might that be the problem? Or is the server really not accepting NEW players (mind you my not so daft friend who bought the game also has the same problem!). To clear any confusion for you, the Shogun Total War server has not been working for some months now http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif Since both the servers crashed ). The Mongol Invasion (expansion pack) Warlord Edition (combined) server is the one that is working. The 'Old Shoggy' foyer declined in popularity some time back, currently there are up to 15 at the moment who still visit MI.
Sorry this is no help to you but if you can pick up a bargain expansion pack it's well worth the effort as Mongol Invasion is a far better online game than Mediaeval is proving to be.

i dont know whats up with the server, non of my EA play id's work, i even registered a new one a sec ago but it just says failed to connect...its annoying

Hi Kamizaki.
I had the same big problem as you not long after registering to play online. But this was down to a prob with EA at the time.
I have Warlord Edition and am logging on OK now and have been for months.
The .Org homepage at top states that registrations are now being accepted. Is this for MTW? or does it also include Shogun MI/WE as well? Keep trying mate, we need all the players we can get online.. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif......Jochi Khan

nope no luck...it could be that i need a patch(s) but ill keep trying now and then

false alarm, i have the updated version, with all required patches...your probably right, EA problems (shock horror*sarcasticly http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/redface.gif*) as i said i'll keep trying now and then but until it works, yuri's revenge, testing my own maps*there so fscking awsome! ^_^* and playing red faction shall hold me down.

Hey, old player here.

Just out of boredom and missing Shogun I tried to get on MTW online and it hasn't been working for me either. For me, it stays on "logging on" indefinitely.

Hope they take care of this.
