CTD when opening multiplayer..

Just tried to play MP for firstt ime since getting the game last week, it crashes to desktop when loading. The first time it rejected me cuz I didn't put in my CD key, ok, entered it, changed my name, then CTD. Have tried it a few more times with the same result. Anyone know the prob?

I'm using the ingame browser, do I have to download the gamespy client? I'd rather not use that crap.

hi beezlebub , same things happens to me somtimes.

I think its a problem with gamespy if theres too many people in the chat lobby.

I had the same problem due to my firewall. I have to reboot, then disable my firewall before I can play online. Simply disabling the firewall sans reboot wasn't sufficient.
