View Full Version : bribery ease
is it always really easy to bribe for your or the computer? i'm playing easy, and i can bribe the rebels instantly. however, it seems the computer emissary can do the same to my provinces as soon i get it from the rebels so i have no time to increase loyalty.

I never bribe; it's too costly and your generals and army aren't accumulating experience and troops that will serve you later on in a time of crisis. I fight and above all else use the sly arts of the shinobi.

hmm... but in the beginning of the game, isn't it easier to bribe and get big armies?
also, since when you begin you don't have shinobi, how do you prevent other emissaries from bribing your provinces away?

Its also way much cheaper to bribe a rebel than a general serving a certain clan, and the price of bribing seems to depend on how many units are in that army, rather than the actual rank, which makes it especially easy to bribe those small high level gens that are a waste to kill.
