Macedonian Phalanx and other

I have seen many screenshots with Macedonian infantry marching. Some units looked like exactly Heavy Armored Hoplites except they had Macedonian colours. I made a custom battle and they did not had any such unit.

Does anyone know smthng about that? I thought that they could be the Hypaspists.

Another thing is that in campaign selection screen when you select a faction the territories it starts with are highlighted. But with certain factions it does not. Does that mean that certain factions are not supposed to be playable? (I use the unlocking script)

yep, the Macedonians do have some good pikemen, they are called in the game Macedonian Royal Pikemen, and in the info parchment they refer to them as Hypaspists. Also yes all the non playable factions will have no starting territory highlighted on the map at the start, and no info parchment underneath (except Macedonia and Pontus, who were originally going to be playable but were replaced by Parthia/Greek City States).

I saw some screenshots were there was Macedonian infantry marching, the banners had an "A" not a "Λ" and the units were just like greek armored hoplites. There is no such unit in the game. Maybe it was a screenshot pre game release?
