Hello Ive been doing good for about the last 10 turns I recently captured the Mausoleum in Anatolia The senate has been sending me messages that if I were Jupiter himself I could not get more praise....however when I go to the Senate floor my approval ratings as well as the other houses are at the lowest level possible, this is annoying because I really need the prize money for doing those tasks they assign and with the senate floor approval the way it is , instead of getting a reward I get "dont get investigated by a quaesator" and fined

no I was the highest in popularity almost all the way up that scale on the senate floor I dont know whats wrong because all the other families got slapped down to the lowest level too including popularity with the people

It's possible that your popularity has casued the senate to see you as a threat, so they are trying to take you down a peg.

I think he is suggesting it might be the same wrap around bug you might see with command stars and heirs in MTW.
