One improvement I've noticed in Rome's battles: your units will try to intercept an enemy unit moving across in front of them rather than running directly for them. Yes, it sometimes results in cavalry running alongside the enemy, but I don't find that nearly as annoying nor as frequent as telling my cavalry to pursue a router to their left running toward their right & knowing the cavalry will end up behind chasing them rather than intercepting their line of movemment.
Anyway, that's my expression of happiness over a feature of the game. I'm sure someone will be along to tell us that my happiness is unwarranted & the feature inconsequential compared to something he wants fixed.
