ive just finished my first campaign in rtw (julii). it was a blast until suddenly: victroy - exit to main menu. is there any way to let me play on? (mods). all these newly built up legions full of pretorians just wait to march civilisation into the east. the game ends a bit preamturely. i didnt even kill the brutii completly :(

Wait until you have that popup message with the back to main menu bit, and hit control-S

then click ok to go back to the main menu

and hit continue campaign....

Also you could put off conquering Rome until the very end. Good luck keeping those far flung cities under contrl though.

ive considered this too discovery but i had already taken rome and made it my capital. if i had not taken it i would have to guard it all the time and whats an emperor without rome?

push rome into rebellion, destroy all buildings that you can in there, raise taxes and withdraw garrison. thats what i did. worked great.
