Cheat Codes??????????

I got the cheat codes off of a site some were and saw them here , I dont cheat but I want to advance threw all the Factions to see all there Units and get a feel for how they work , and dont want to spend 200 turns just to figure it out, I cant get a damn code to work for nothing , the only one im really intrested in is the Bulding Que one , so if any one has had any succes with this code please let me know , and how exactly you got it to work.

Well I do cheat. As Bart Simpson says; "underachiever and proud of it!"

I used cheats in Medieval:TW to get more cash and sometimes to get one-turn contruction. I got flamed something fierce by the purists, but I'll say now what I said then - I simply don't have the time to play the game the way it is meant to be played. But that should not disqualify me from the right to have some fun. It is a game after all, not a test for medical school.

I've got a woman, two kids, a full time job (But not today! Day off. ~D ) and I don't have fifty hours for a campaign. I paid my $59.99 for the game and I want to see all the game offers and have fun. It's all about fun.

So... if y'all could ass on the cheat site, I'd be mighty obliged.

(Mind you, cheating online is just cheating. That's something entirelly different.)

where Kraellin gives a list of cheats. If I remember the discussion at TWCenter correctly, most (all?) cheats can only be used once per session; if you want to use one a 2nd time, save, quit & restart the game. Also, the console command line may come up with some spurious characters already entered: delete these before using the cheat commands.

Hey, Beirut. You bought the game with your own money. You play it in your own home. You aren't using the codes online. So who cares if you use the codes or not. It's entirely up to you. This is a game. No such thing as a single player "purist". Do they ever use a mod? That, too is a "cheat". It has altered the original game and the intent of the devs. The only question you need ever answer to yourself is, "Am I having fun?" Good Lord, you can't "cheat" in a single player game. There's no one to cheat!

Now, I personally find it more challenging to not use most of the codes, but I love removing the FOW just to watch the AI play. I also used to love the -ian command line "cheat", because it freed-up the camera allowing me to have a more enjoyable experience. It also allowed me to jump into other factions to see how the AI was operating. Fascinating. The AI can be incredibly stupid at times, other times brilliant. Besides, I play for relaxation and enjoyment, not to prove manhood in a surrealistic world. Prove that for real when you go to work in the morning to support your family. ~;)
