Well, so long as nobody actually starts discussing the election, and so long as Dessa doesn't actually lash out at anyone responding to the thread, I think it can stay.

i would be careful to myself a liberal, considering that liberalism is the same as conservatism nowadays.

Did you not read the previous statements in this very thread about NOT discussing the election?

EDIT - Wow, in fact you posted RIGHT after Saturnas said that anyone discussing the election in this thread would be severly punished

People sure can riled up around election time. Forunately, at least in the US, most of the people I know, from both parties, are reasonable people.

i agree, the liberal party is the scrouge of the earth, with brainless leaders (exception is costello he has a brain but is an evil Facist), the liberal party is the most xenophobic, right wing party i can think of in australia.
and with the EVIL right wing Family first Party (family first is a religious right wing party), they now have a majority in the senate, meaning that howard and the liberals could do almost anything (whats the bet they ban islam first)
and punish me, i don't even play total war anymore, my comp isn't good enough to play Rome and medieval is boring now(ever since i got vicky)
the next 3 years will be like frasers term in office, interest rates will skyrocket (because the government are dirty little liers and have no control over interest rates) inflation will be huge, and there will be no welfare, paid university, free health care.
it will be a disaster.
thanks,
dessa

Gotta love this, Saturnus gives out an empty threat when it comes to the libs in here. Imagine that. Yawn....

For any conservatives in here, I believe you should take the mod threat seriously since it will most likely be applied to you if you violate the warning. Liberals, please feel free to say and do whatever you want...

Dessa, could you please slander conservatives and the Right more, its always good to here such tolerance and open mindedness of the left. I'm glad you guys do everything possible to let everyone have a voice and never try to stiffle it. hypocrits....

No one has ever been severely punished for talking politics in the frontroom. The thread just gets moved to the backroom.

That's strange considering what Saturnus posted...
"BKS forgot to mention that those who actually start discussing election will be punished severely."
But then again Sasaki, you and many others don't to worry about this, do you.

Since he posted it right after another person made a joke I didn't take it seriously.

hmm something of the stupid right wing.
right wingers are the least open-minded people out there.
they love racism.
they love imperialism.
they love poverty.
how can i not slander the right wing. but then again all i say is true and in the publics general interest so it isn't slander.
you slander liberals when you say they won't remove a murdering dictator from power.
because the it was the Labor party that took australia through the war, after the Liberal(consevative) party took us into it, and then sent letters to hitler saying that we would join him. the consevatives sent letters to hitler.
so from my understanding the conservatives prefer a "Murdering" dictator then a democratically elected socialist, wait a minute this is like chile, a conservative government in the USA trying to remove a democratically elected party from power in favour of a right wing dictatorship where masses of people were executed.
if you look at history YOUR right wingers have been the worst, commited the worst atrocities.
Also Stalin was NOT LEFT WING!.
stalin was as right wing as dubya or howard.
also look at the state of the world under right wing rulership.
10% of the world are stinking rich.
20% of the world are only just floating above the poverty mark
70% of the World are in absolute poverty.
why is this? right wing exploitation.
go vote for the republicans this year, maybe if they get an overwhelming majority in both houses they can remove all your rights and ban Islam.
thanks,
dessa

Erm...when I said the thread was ok so long as nobody discussed the election and Dessa didn't lash out at people, I wasn't trying to use reverse psychology...
