Playing as other 'Tribes'

:duel: I would like to play with different factions in the campaign, can anybody tell me how to do that? I just read I am allowed to ask anything as there is no search function for me ;) I am sure this question got asked before. :help:

You have a number of options:

1) Beat a mini or large campaign as a Roman faction - unlocking the other factions.

2) Download a mod so you can - here (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=10074)

Ah excellent, cheers pal, I knew it was possible, just didn't know there were entrance requirements. I'll beat the campaign then.

I was a bit annoyed that the other factions weren't available to play immediately as I wouldn't have chosen a Roman faction to begin with. I am still playing my first campaign as House Juli and it's taking me ages! It's about 240 BC and I've only got 7 regions and I need another 8 to win. I generally ignore Senate missions when they require me to blockade the Greeks and the Carthaginians as they're pretty powerful. Still learning ~:) . Can't wait to be the German barbarians ~:cheers: .
