Provincal Campaign?

I'm not sure whether this post should go in the Dungeon or here, so I'll post in both.

I messed around with the .txt files in the data/.../Imperial Campaign folder. Later when I went to start a new campaign an option that wasn't there before appeared. Under Custom Battle was Provincial Campaign. It took me to a screen similiar to the historical battle screen, but there were no options or scenarios. I can run my normal campaign fine.

Is this a feature that's suppose to let you choose which Campaign you want to play or something? I'm really confused.


Anyone else get this?

I had this from the minute I edited the text file to unlock all factions... don't know how it's there either. I read a post somewhere of someone who copy pasted the entire campaign and had an option in the provincial campaign for julii or something, so that it would suggest that if one could put an additional campaign in the folder where the imperial one is, it pops up in the provincial campaign screen.
But we'll only know for sure if somone has another campaign ready ~;)

Usually a modded campaign will appear in here for you to play.

I just copied the imperial campaign folder and left the copy in the campaign folder and I got the option.

Could we put the prologue campaign in there? I'd love to finish that one up but since u cant save the game I cant finish it.

You can save the Prologue. Just not until 10 turns have expired, or you finish the second Senate mission, whichever of those two is the later event.

Oh wow you can? Grrrr I must have had like 9 turns then stoped trying to save haha *smacks self in head*

I bet the provincial campaign was like the MTW historical battles where you needed to beat one to unlock the next and so forth and so on. And like many other features oddly CA removed it...

after 10 turns and both senate missions I still couldnt save? R u sure its 10 turns ot 10 years?
