Have the map files been attainable?

good to hear it but including the Romans?

1. Seems strange, they never met on the field
2. The China v. Rome debate belongs during the Han Dynasty.
3. Takes away serious focus from RotTK era.
4. We will be Romed-out.
5. ect.,
..but it is your mod so. :dizzy2: ~D cant wait! ~

u remeber the chinese spear got a horizontal blade which is normal to the main tip? and they only have the prymary weapon. they dont use any sword except officers.
they have troops who use shield + broad saber.

dont get it wrong.! haha
and there r crossbows being used in the war....they got all the roman siege weapon in that period.

and the city wall are normally double layered.....there is extra layer of wall around governer's building ....

and if it's large city could have 3 layers of walls.....

that'll be quite different from roma style....

that wont be late roman, coz "han" is quite early...hundred yers till roma break down.

that would be the middle of roma empire period.

The han dynasty lasts from 202 BC to 220 AD, or 189 AD if you count the yellow turban rebellion as the end of the dynasty. The three kindoms era lasts from 220 AD (or 189 AD) until 620 AD, or if you only count the time when there actually was 3 kingdoms 268 AD. Also 3 kingdoms era chinese armies don't use chariots. The Han did but it died out during their dynasty. They did have crossbows however and elephants. As far as the chinese factions break down goes Wei (Cao Cao) has the strongest military on land in terms of size and equipment, also its the richest faction due to Cao Cao getting the former Han capitol. Shu (Liu Bei) has a slightly weaker army on the ground but they have elephants and better generals like Zhuge Liang, they are also have a weaker economy. Wu (Sun Jian) has the best navy and the area of the former Han empire they occupy is very defensible, aswell there economy is about average.

bah, just wanted to add out that there will not be much factions as listed but whilest the three kingdoms are the main focus. Cao Cao will have most of the advantages, but he has the mongols on top :D

I don't suppose you'll add a third period like RotK had where theres a whole bunch of different factions(alot just controlling one city). That was my favorite setting in RotK, trying to take a small one that wasn't one of the big three and winning. I know it would be alot of factions, but i'd be funner then all of those just being rebels. Thats just my opinion though, can't wait for the mod.

One more thing, will taxes/farming play a larger role instead of trade being the main money maker like it is in RTW?

Edit-Oh, and assuming you're logged in the edit button will be at the bottom right of your post.

I don't think you need to include india, korea, mongols and all that.

I suggest modelling it after the Koei games RTK series.

prior to the formation of the 3 kingdoms, ie during the last stages of the Han Dynasty, there were many small warlord provinces. IT later coalesced.

I also think that it would be good to use the forts and watchtowers more in the strategy map, as i believe strategic movement played a big role in the sinopolitical situation then.
