Have I misread something, or are Macedonians capable of getting +7 to missile weapons with a Pantheon of Artemis and a foundry?

In MTW the weapons upgrades only effect hand-to-hand combat, it appears that weapons upgrades do effect Missles, maybe each upgrade gives them .5 to missle, making 3.5 extra attack on the missle, 7 just seems silly...

I never had more than the "gold" upgrade, but it's perhaps only a graphical cap.

If you really want to see if they got such bonus, just look at the stat of the base unit, and the stat of such a unit produced in such a city ^^

It would really be great if they keep the base states in the unit scroll with +X next to the trait modified. So an archer with a missile attack of 11 with a foundry and Pantheon of Artemis would 11(+7). This would help in knowing how good your unit is and how far he has come along from vanilla status.

Light, heavy and missile weapons have different upgrades currently. What I'm curious about are the units with two different attacks. For example, archers have missile and light (sword mostly, I think). Do they need separate upgrades or will both be upgraded if I upgrade the primary (missile)?

It appears they only need the main one upgraded, I just checked. I retrained a non-upgraded unit of British Light Chariots in a town with a Blacksmith(+1 to Light Weapons) and a Sacred Grove of Anoba(+2 to Missile Weapons). They started out 11 Melee/15 Missile(they had 1 experience), after upgrade they were at 13 melee/17 missile. So i'm assuming it only relies in the units primary attack. This sounds right since I remember my Legions missile damage getting higher with the same thing.
