Did you try to reboot instead of reinstalling?
Do you leave your machine on in the meantime?
Is it possible that you ran out of memory and the game cannot load the videos?

Is it possible that your graphics card is overheating? I know RTW is pretty hard on some cards - there are a few threads dotted about the place which detail how to cool your PC down if this is indeed the problem. If not, sorry!

I installed the game without a hitch, but was only able to run it once, out of some 30 attempts; this was down to the ATI graphics drivers, which I had to fully remove & then reinstall with the latest available from the Nvidia site. May not be related but it doesn't take too long so worth a try.
My card is a gforce 4 mx and its updated.
My friend has the latest ATI Radeon card

Ok this may sound a little far fetched, but do you have Windows Media Player10? I've heard that helped, & I certainly downloaded & installed it myself; also & this is probably the strangest solution yet, changing from optical mouse to a standard rollerball.
If that fails pop to Totalwar.com & check their forums, you'll have to jump through a couple of post links, but there's a wealth of info. on different system issues & install / running problems.
I try installing media player 10 but i dont have a rollerball mouse

OK, albo g: you've tried enough things on your own, without apparent success, so I copied this thread to the Apothecary (our Tech forum) to let our guys have a look at your problem.
