The Modding Craze

What is up with mods? It seems like every topic is about new types of mods. Is it really such a good thing. Does it like, put a whole new twist on the game? Or is it one of those things that just keep you from uninstalling it? I myself was never big on modding so I guess maybe I'm the kid with a bright orange shirt on. The individual amonst many. Anyways i guess I shouldnt be so philosophical about mods. Well I just wanted some other opinions on this matter. Shanks.

Ever since rome has come out with have alot of mods released with a load of new faces coming out with many different things. I myself will work on a mod when i have time, i don't plan to rush one out just for the sake of it though ~D .
