Wow, that was a BIG battle.

Nice choice of music, anyway. It's pleasant to see other Nightwish lovers here ^^

Nicely done, good work both on the camera and the music. Pretty standard Gaul formation -- your general must have been at least 9-star general for the Roman right flank to cruble so quickly. And you have nicely illustrated the AI stupidity of managing to lose its general. Excellent effort!!! ~

well the gen was a standard custom scenario Gen, i admit though the battle was rigged in favour of the gauls, mainly for the movie. although after trails with giving the romans less money to spend, i founf that the battle ended too quickly. Eventually i gave them the same cash to spend, and nailed the AI on hard, but i only gave them a couple of cav units, mostly they had legion cohorts, 2 were first cohorts, they had 2 archers, and 4 auxillia. 2 skirmishers. al units in the battle were V1 cept the gaulish archers which were 0 and the warband was 2

I figured the warcry realy messes up the enemy ;) that and AI control

Yeah the music rocked... and you really did a nice job of letting transitions in the game happen around the transition in the Music.
Personally I think that Nemo or Ghost Love Score would make for nice battle songs too ...

The only bad thing about the video is that it's a little bit choppy. I don't know if the framerate can go up (never made a video myself, and although I heard about fraps, I never used it..), but that would make it perfect.

i used fraps, i guess my trouble is sorting out what are the best settings to actually run these progs at. Ive found a better program than fraps called Gamecam, more tweaking options, and i get slightly better framerates out of it, though i still need to run some tests at lower settings.

Nice video. Excellent choice of music. What do the lyrics say? Something about saving yourself?

Alrowan

the save yourself line is:

Save yourself a penny for the ferryman, save yourself and let them suffer.

the ferryman is a mythological figure who transports souls to the otherworld
