I don't think this has been posted yet...
The AI was assulting one of my cities. They had a ram, two ladders, and a seige tower against my stone wall.
The AI units climbed the wall with the seige towers and ladders and started fighting my hastati on the wall before ALL of them were on the wall (some were still climbing the ladders and up the seige towers).
I got distracted when the ram broke through my gate and I started fighting and focusing my concentration there.
After I routed their army, the battle didn't end. So I started to look around and found about 1/10 of a unit of peasants stuck (frozen) on the seige tower. There was no way I could get to them or get rid of them. I had to quit the battle (lose) and reload. :furious3:
I don't know exactly what happened as I was distracted by the gate and the fight there. I knew my wall units could handle themselves so I wasn't paying attention.
My best guess is that the unit routed but all the men in the unit weren't off the seige tower and the game got stupified.
