Honored warriors,
I have only recently discovered this wonderful community, only to feel the same feeling I'm sure the Samurai were in the late 1800's...that we are a dying breed, that the love for the great and powerful Samurai is fading in the face of newer...prettier games. No disrespect to those who enjoy RTW and MTW. Those are, of course, wonderful games in their own right. But do not allow the spender of watching thousands of your loyal retainers march against your enemys.
Lest we forget the first time we saw the message "you have eliminated all opposition...you are now shogun. Or the first time we sent the whole of Japan into rebellion when our Geisha hurled a hair pin into the throats of the last Daimyo that would oppose you. Never forget that for many of you... MTW and RTW would simply not have been the same without the Samurai armies with which you first honed your skills. Never forget!
Cause I need someone to challenge when I finally get the system for online play!

THANKS KAS. I just can't stand the thought of everyone loosing their roots.
Anyhow...Sasaki, there's nothing wrong with my system really. I just need to upgrade and get the DSL and all that good stuff. I just moved into a new house. But mainly I've just never played on-line so....
But to be able to face you guys on the field...I'll manage it and when I do, I shall test my skills against some of the finest players I'm sure I'll ever know.

Lot's of people play on 56k. I don't think it will be a problem.

I'll be glad to show you the ropes online if you want.
