is there a Mod out there that will hep curb corruption or can anyone direct me to the files where I can make the adjustment myself I would like to adjust it so that the # of spies I have in a settlement has an effect on it

I was thinking about Modding public order too I think if I take over a city and massacre everyone after a rebellion that it would be at least 1 or 2 gernerations say 30 years before they start to forget that my faction is really keene on slaughtering rebels also I liked it in MTW where a family member whose dread value was high was enough to supress rebellion sometimes ...I find these things realistic and would like to Mod them in but I am green when it comes to modding any pros able to lend a hand

ps I was also wondering if you can Mod it so that an rebelious city actual has to fight a battle with your army in the city before they get thrown out

I think its just absurd that my huge army of crack troops gets thrown out of a city by a bunch of peasants and a few gladiators

thanks!!

So you need to increase the law in your towns. so look for lines like this in:

"law_bonus bonus 2"

in the export_descr_buildings.txt file. 2 is 10%, I think. So just increase to 4 to double the effect to 20%. Oh and make sure you mod a building you can construct!

i think you will have to restart the game, but any changes should by reflected in your saved games, but I haven’t tried Probably a good idea to make a copy of the file you mod too.

Rome directory/data/export_descr_buildings.txt

So on my machine it would be
