Autocalc

Is it possible to change the way autocalc works so that it keys off the 'battle' difficulty setting instead of the 'campaign' one? That the enemy troops get vorpal blades (but only when I'm not looking) is wierd.

And while I'm asking the question, is a more sophisticated autocalc something that could be modded in?
