One of the things I thought would have been a really good addition back in the days of MTW was a Hall of Fame. Something to remember your glorious campaigns, a way of bettering your high scores and a reason for continuing to play the game. As far as I recall, all we've ever been presented with at the end of 100+ hours of campaign play is a single, still-pictured, victory screen. One that hardly befits the momentus achievement of completing one, let alone several, campaigns.

If I recall correctly, I think even a CA patron once stated that this was something they'd be keen to implement. Alas RTW is again bereft of this lovely idea. Unless there's ever a highscore HoF, there's very little reason to repeat campaigns, or complete campaigns when it's blatantly obvious you're going to win.

Here's wishing.

i wholeheartly agree with that. more statistics would also be nice. like # of enemys killed, # of own men lost, against what faftion and so on. there is much potential for the statistic-fans out there! ~

What I would REALLY like to see is a stat sheet for my faction, listing battles, kills, casualties, provinces, etc. What kind of a commander am I? Am I pragmatic and disciplined, or am I mearly a butcher. I always wanted this in MTW; hoped it would be in RTW. Most strategy games have some form of running totals. Granted there is a total of battles won & lost, but this includes naval, which is a joke. Give me ground stats--I have input there. Just what did it cost me to conquer Egypt? How many KIA, wounded? How many did my troops kill? If you had this info, you could make your own Hall of Fame simply by taking a screenie at the end and keeping them in a separate file. If playing on the same settings, this would give you a good indication of just how hard some of the factions are to play. You could compare your stats from different campaigns. Yeah, I REALLY want that. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY. And a cup cozy. Maybe a cup cozy.
