I haven't seen that message reported elsewhere yet. Are you sure it's R:TW giving the message, not Windows, or your antivirus updater?

If you could quote the entire error message, our tech guys may be able to parse out exactly what it refers to.

I'm afraid I'm not much help with your 'fail-to-logon' problem. The posters here

report the same, intermittantly. The overarching solution seems to be: keep trying, eventually it works.

First-of-all-my-spacebar-has-packed-up-sorry! Use Alt 255 for a space.

[Hold the alt key down and type 255 using the number pad. Release the alt key. Bingo one space]

Alternatively you can use character map and cut and paste

What drive is the game on and what drive did the patch go to?

Did you install the patch to the RTW main directory?

This could be the reason for the ...message...it doesn't see the patch.
