Is there an easy and quick way of doing this? Only I've tried Maul's editor and Purpgrab and they seem to mess up the colours. Thanks.

Black dots? Never seen those... Maybe you have a problem with your video hardware.

For the record, I have game version 2.01, and have never used any other version of the game. So it may very well be a problem with the game code in a different version of the program.

When you make new review panel pics, black dots appear on them for some reason. I want to clean these up so it looks more professional.

This probably won't help, but I had a similar question some time ago:

I couldn't find anything on this except that a corrupt bif file might cause this.
Shogun Mod for MTW:VI
In 3D-mode when I zoom as near as possible there are black spots on the monks, circling around like flies.
On a side note: the yari sams don't seem to wear their helmets - just bald naked heads without a face.
I didn't mod the bif files but opened them several times with readbif. When I noticed the spots (I don't know if they have been there before) I overwrote them first with the original files from the Mod.zip with no effect, then I overwrote them with original bif files from the Shogun game. Again - no effect.
So my question is: What causes this and is it just me or are you seeing spots, too?

Cheers

Here's baroccas answer to it:

the monks have errant pixels on their clothing these can either turn black or adopt colours from the faction,
this is beacuse of pallette changes CA made to MTW as opposed to STW

the yari sam have brown helmets, on lower resolutions that can look like hair,

cheers,
B.

~ and good luck.

Ah. That would explain it. :)
