I know that there is a section for stories, but I want to read the scenarios for your battles no matter how silly or ordinary you think it is.
I want you to start from the campaign map, what lead to the battle and go to the battle itself and how did it go whether you won or not, & do not be bothered with the literature part its the strategy that counts. :charge:

I know the moderators might get mad at me for posting this here, ~D

But put your self in my shoes, I don't have the game yet & I would love to here such stories. & I'm sure that Many share the same feelings.

THANK YOU.....

WHEN I SAID SILLY, I MEANT WHAT YOU MIGHT MISTAKINGLY THINK OF YOUR OWN STORY.
Thanks again.

Well here is mine.............I was playing Carthage and I had gotten lucky in that I had managed to take out the Brutii and Scippi very early on. I killed everyone that got in my way, which was a mistake as we'll see later on.

The senate and the Julli didn't take too kindly to my massacering of these people and also for some dumb reason the Greeks decided to not play ball and attacked mme navally, this cut off my supply of troops to Italy. Now I only had 1 ALMOST full stack of early troops (Iberian Inf, Round Shield Cav, some Libyan Spearmen with some mercenary Saminmite Warriors and my 4* Gen) I had nothing in the way of missile troops and the cities that i had captured and killed wern't able to produce any for me. I felt like pushing on and taking the Senate out of the game so onwards I ploughed until I hit a very sudden roadblock, the massiove senate army that is always around when a gme starts. This was the first timei have had to fight the senate and in my rush I had forgotten to bring any diplomats or spies along with me.

Well I decided to sit back a little bit and tried to raise a small flanking force to sneak round a draw the attention of the senate's army. that is until, i saw a full stack of Julli heading towards my newly conqueored lands. this forced my hand a little bit also had to rush to take out the senate before heading south to counter the Julli threat. My smaller force was acting as a roadblock to impede the Julli's movement. However, my retraining of my old troops and the raising of the small force had bled the cities dry of recruitable populace and i couldn't raise anything to help. I had 2 large stacks in Sicilly but my navy was too weak to get anything through the Greek ships.

My battle with the Senate's army was a phyrric victory, I killed them off by taking the initial charge by the AI with my libyan spearmen and fmass flanked on the right side with my iberian inf and round shield cav whilst 2 units of iberian inf was used to make sure the left flank held. However, the senatesa rmy had badly smallened my forces and this meant i had to face a full Julli army with many depleted units and almost 1/3 of a stack. However, since the Julli army was deep in my territory my gen quickly set up a fort outside rome and and left a couple of units there and samnite inf was quickly recruited and the whole army marhced towards the back of the Julli army, the smaller army attack from the front and after merging the deplted units togeather I managed enough largeish units to hit the enemy in the back with a decisive blow.

Now....i'm still playing this and i will now take rome and enslave it and then try and defeat the Greek navy before landing more troops to finish off the Julli.

~;) Thanks Chimpyang I really Enjoyed that .
I love disperate Situations.
Why didn't you use any sb inf in your attaking force? I have read about them in the Rome unit guide & they are the best inf unit for carthage.
Also does hannibal make an appearance?
