Wong Fe Hung Films

A while back someone asked about a seies of Jet Li movies. While the series was identified. I thought some additional information might be in order, as there are several films that feature the same charater.
Here is a list with some comments afterwards.

The True Story of Wong-Fei Hung

The fist film made about Wong-Fei Hung it was made in 1949. Actor Kwan Tak-hing in the movie. Kwan Tak-hing and his ensable made a total of 99 movies in this series. The True Story of Wong-Fei Hung is considered to be the 1st true martial arts movie. Wong's most famous student settled in Hong Kong after Wong's death in 1924 and passed on Wong's martial arts to several students some of whom worked in Peking Opera troups.

Jet Li plays Wong Fei Hung in the 1st 3 and in the 6th Once Uopn a Time in China movies. Chin Man Cheuk takes over and plays Wong Fei Hung in the 4th and 5th films.

Magnificent Butcher

Samo Hung stars in th this movie about the story of Lam Sai Wing (aka the Magnificent Butcher), Wong Fei Hung's most famous student. Actor Kwan Tak-hing plays the role of Wong Fei Hung.

I'm sure someone will mention other movise that deal with Wong Fei Hung.

Drunken Master II with Jackie Chan. His best movie ever right up there with his police force movies (not all of them though).

Iron Monkey II (not the I please not the I). You'll see not only Wong Fei-Hung (played by one very agile girl) but his(?) father: Wong Fei-King. And let me just say that if you haven't see that movie, you're in for a blast.

please explain: I don't know if you're refering to a character in the movie or the name of an actor. The actor's names I'll have by tomorrow (i'm working right now http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif ).
I don't remember Iron monkey's character name or his ladyfriend's but I will come up with an answer (if you're interested)
