I'm playing a super game as the Greek States and have three navies stuck in on shorelines or in port:

1) Kyodonia (stuck in the little bay)
2) Near Cirta (just stuck on the shoreline)
3) Athens (the ships are actually drydock on land).

The navies have between 100 and 500 ships in them. Is there a way to salvage them or are they stuck for good? Anyone else having troubles with ships getting stuck?

Thanks!

That must be a bug, navies aren't supposed to end up on shore...

Select your port
Make its rally point next to the fleet
You should now be able to move the fleet to that rally point
Now your fleet should be free to move.

The next patch should fix this ..... hopefully

You can only set a rally point so far from a port so if its in timbuktu, your a bit out of luck until the next patch

I wonder if someone could compile a list of posts/threads that deal with bug workarounds such as this, so that I can start a section in the Forum Index (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=39371)?

What Oaty said :)
Worked for me.
Now, lets see if I can find that save with the stuck, full stack of Thracian ships (half my navy) carrying the full stack of Thracans (half my army) towards Thesalonica...
